Event Details

The Portland State University School of Social Work presents a series of events centered around culture and conversations. Please join us for four weeks in February as community leaders facilitate conversations around celebrating strengths and understanding disparities in communities of color in Oregon. Our final event in the series is a discussion facilitated by CAUSA, Oregon’s Immigrant Rights Coalition, on the effects of increased collaboration between U.S. ICE and local law enforcement. For more information, contact Cimone Schwoeffermann at cimone@pdx.edu.

About CAUSA:

CAUSA is Oregon’s statewide, grassroots immigrant rights coalition and the largest Hispanic civil and human rights, and advocacy organization in the Pacific Northwest. We work to defend and advance immigrant rights through coordination with local, state, and national coalitions and allies. CAUSA organizes, educates, mobilizes to build power in the immigrant community.
